Browsing this website asks you for nothing. When you tap Start camera in See what we see or the pre-visit, you agree that we keep your close-ups privately to improve our lash AI until you ask us to delete them; you can change your mind at any time. Booking happens on Square.
There is no account, login, advertising or analytics tracking on this website. You can read every page without giving us any personal information.
When you tap one of our shared links (such as a link in an Instagram post or a shared Lash Diaries article), we add one to an anonymous daily count for that link, which sets no cookie and holds nothing that identifies you.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
This website sets no cookies for visitors. The only cookies are a preview cookie for people we have sent a preview link, and a sign-in cookie on Desiree's own device for her studio page.
PurviewX builds and runs this website and our lash AI for Central Oasis. Vercel hosts it, Google Cloud runs the lash AI and the private storage, and Square handles booking under its own terms.
See what we see uses your phone or computer camera only after you tap Start camera and allow it in your browser. No sound is recorded, and the live video stays on your device.
Once your close-ups are read, this browser tab holds them and the reading (in its session storage, never sent anywhere else), so going Back from a service page brings your results back without a new reading. They are cleared when you retake them, close the camera, uncheck the box on the suggestions screen, or close the tab.
When you take your close-ups, the page picks a few still close-ups of your eyes and brows and sends them to our lash AI, which runs on Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Gemini) on our behalf, to describe what it sees. Google processes them to return the reading under its terms for business customers.
Among what it reads is a coarse visible tone range, as it looks in the light of your close-ups: lighter, medium or deeper. It is never a guess about who you are or where you're from. It is never shown to you and never changes what we suggest. Desiree's private studio card uses it to suggest a starting tint shade, and we use it to check the camera reads every tone range equally well.
When you tap Start camera, you agree that your selected close-ups and what our lash AI saw are kept privately to improve our lash AI until you ask us to delete them. The suggestions screen has a box to change your mind: uncheck it and they are deleted at once. If the reading shows something Desiree should check, such as redness along the lid or gaps along the lash line, the box starts unchecked: close-ups like that are never kept for training by default. Nor are close-ups that don't show your lash line clearly enough to read.
Desiree can open kept close-ups on her private studio page to check what our lash AI saw; PurviewX, which runs our lash AI, uses them to train it.
The line under the Start camera button says: “By tapping Start camera, you agree to the Terms and the Privacy notice: we keep your close-ups and what our lash AI saw privately to improve our lash AI until you ask us to delete them.” Directly under it, “Read the rest of the agreement” opens the rest of it. The full statement, the line and the rest together, is also in our Terms: “By tapping Start camera, you agree to the Terms and the Privacy notice: we keep your close-ups and what our lash AI saw privately to improve our lash AI until you ask us to delete them. They are never published or used for marketing. Close-ups that show something Desiree should check are kept only if you tick the box to share them. You can change your mind at any time: uncheck the box before you finish, or later use your reference code or your pre-visit link, and we delete them.”
To stop misuse, we count requests from each connection for up to an hour (a day for the same reading), in the server's memory only. The counts hold only a scrambled form of your IP address (or of the reading), never the address itself, and are never written to storage.
If you send Desiree a pre-visit, it holds your first name, the service and appointment day you chose (and anything booked with it), your booking reference and appointment time, if your booking link carried them, your close-ups, what our lash AI noticed, what Desiree noted when she checked it, your answers (including any past reaction to lash or brow products you tell us about, whether you wear contact lenses and, if we ask, whether you are wearing lash extensions) and note, and whether you added an add-on.
It is stored privately with Google Cloud. On this website, only Desiree (signed in with her studio key) and you (with your private pre-visit link) can open it. The key in your link is never sent to our server in the address.
Until you send it, this browser tab holds your close-ups, the reading and your answers the same way, so going Back from another page keeps them. They are cleared when you send it, retake your close-ups, close the camera, or close the tab.
This browser remembers the pre-visits sent from it (each one's private link, the service and, if your booking link carried one, the booking reference), so you can reopen or delete them on the pre-visit page. Deleting a pre-visit takes it off that list; tapping Forget on this device there, or clearing this site's data in your browser, removes the whole list.
It is deleted 30 days after your appointment, or 60 days after you send it if you didn't give an appointment day. Under the agreement you make when you start the camera, your close-ups are also kept after your visit to improve our lash AI, together with what our lash AI saw and what Desiree noted when she checked them, until you ask us to delete them. On that same date everything else in it is removed: your name, booking reference, appointment time (only the day and the service stay), answers, note and add-ons. Uncheck that box before sending and the pre-visit is deleted on that schedule instead. You can delete it yourself at any time from your pre-visit link, and a deletion is final.
Selecting Book leaves this website and opens Square (book.squareup.com). What you enter there is handled under Square's terms and privacy notice.
Calling, texting or emailing the studio sends your information through your phone or email provider rather than a form on this website.
We never publish your close-ups, use them for marketing, or sell your information. They help train our lash AI under the agreement you make when you start the camera, and you can have them deleted at any time. The lash AI describes what it sees and suggests services; it never tells you that you have a medical condition. When your close-ups or answers show irritation, it suggests no service, shares care tips and the common causes in general terms, and hands you to Desiree.
