After lash extensions, keep them dry for the first 24 hours, use oil-free cleansers, brush them each morning and come back for a fill about every two weeks. After a lash lift, tint or brow lamination, keep them dry for 24 to 48 hours and skip steam and mascara. Below is what to do before and after each service.
Classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume sets and fills.
Before your visit
Come with clean lashes: no mascara, eyeliner or eye makeup.
Skip oil-based cleansers, eye creams and makeup removers that day. Oil weakens lash adhesive, and a clean lash line helps your set last.
Don't curl your lashes beforehand; straight, natural lashes are easier to separate and the set sits more evenly.
If your eyes get sensitive or you've reacted to lash glue before, call or text Desiree and ask about a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead.
If you wear contact lenses, bring your case; most people are more comfortable without them.
You'll lie back with your eyes closed for the appointment, so wear something comfortable, and skip a big coffee right before if caffeine makes you jittery.
Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in.
After your visit
Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours so the adhesive can fully set.
Use oil-free cleansers and makeup removers around your eyes; oil breaks down adhesive.
Brush your lashes gently each morning with a clean spoolie.
Sleep on your back or side when you can, so the set stays even.
Book your next fill for about two weeks out to keep your set full.
A lash lift, with or without a tint. Without a tint, the tint and hair-dye notes don't apply.

A lash tint fades as lashes grow and shed; plan the next one about three to four weeks later.

Why we say to keep steam, saunas and hot air away from new extensions:
Temperature exhibits a strong negative impact on eyelash extension durability, accelerating adhesive degradation as temperature increases from 15 °C to 35 °C.

Why a fill about every two weeks keeps a set full:
Humans typically lose and replace between 1 and 4 eyelashes daily.
Keep them dry for the first 24 hours so the adhesive can fully set. After that, wash your lash line gently with an oil-free cleanser.
Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?
It's best to skip it. Mascara clumps extensions and needs an oil-based remover to come off, and oil weakens the adhesive.
How often do I need a lash fill?
About every two weeks. Natural lashes shed a few at a time, and the extensions on them shed too, so a fill keeps your set full and even. If it has been two to three weeks or you have shed more than usual, book the longer 90-minute fill.
How long does a lash lift, tint or brow lamination last?
A lash lift usually lasts six to eight weeks. A lash tint fades as lashes grow and shed; plan the next one about three to four weeks later. That interval comes from a clinical study of white lashes (Ju et al., Annals of Dermatology, 2024), not salon tints. Brow lamination and tint often lasts several weeks; Desiree will tell you when to rebook. Keep them dry for the first 24 to 48 hours; after that, brushing brows into place each morning and a drop of brow oil keep them soft.
Do I need a patch test?
If you've reacted to lash glue or tint before, or your eyes are sensitive, tell Desiree when you book (call or text) and ask about a patch test 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
What if my eyes feel itchy or sore afterwards?
Contact Desiree so she can take a look. If your eyes are very swollen or painful, or your vision changes, see a doctor.
