What does the lash AI look at?

It looks at 17 things about your lashes, lids and brows: extensions or mascara, lash fullness, lash curl, lash direction, natural lash length, lash-line gaps, lash line, lid shape, eye set, eye openness, lid comfort, brow fullness, brow balance, brow arch, lash-line view, under-eye shadow, and visible tone range. It says in plain words what it sees clearly; the rest go on Desiree's studio card if you send her a pre-visit.

Desiree can see them on her private studio page if you send a pre-visit or we keep them; our lash AI, which runs on Google Cloud on our behalf, reads them; and the PurviewX team that runs it uses kept ones to improve it. When you tap Start camera, you agree that we keep your close-ups privately to improve our lash AI until you ask us to delete them; they are never published or used for marketing. Close-ups that show something Desiree should check are kept only if you tick the box to share them. Uncheck the box on the last screen, or ask us at any time, and we delete them.

What if something looks irritated?

We don't suggest a service from photos when your lids or lash line look red, puffy or irritated. Desiree looks at it with you first.

Your close-ups are saved for Desiree on her studio page, where she can look at them and reply on your pre-visit link. At your appointment she can go over them with you.
