What do a lift and tint do together?
What it does
The lift curls your own lashes from the root; the tint, in the color of your choice, darkens them to the tips. Together they read like mascara you don't have to put on.
Who it suits
Light or fair lashes that curl well but disappear without mascara. If your lashes are already dark, the lift on its own is enough.
Two timelines
The curl and the color wear differently. Her menu gives the lift six to eight weeks. A lash tint fades as lashes grow and shed; plan the next one about three to four weeks later. If you've reacted to tint or hair dye before, tell Desiree and ask about a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead; call or text before you book.

Prep and aftercare
How do I prepare for a lash lift and tint?
- Come with clean lashes: no mascara, eyeliner or eye makeup.
- Skip oily products around your eyes that day so the lift and tint take evenly.
- Don't curl your lashes that day.
- If you've reacted to lash or brow tint before, call or text Desiree and ask about a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead.
- If you've ever reacted to hair dye, tell Desiree too: tints and hair dyes can share the same ingredient.
- If you wear contact lenses, bring your case; most people are more comfortable without them.
- You'll lie back with your eyes closed for about 60 minutes, so wear something comfortable, and skip a big coffee right before if caffeine makes you jittery.
- Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in.
What aftercare does a lash lift and tint need?
- Keep your lashes dry, and skip steam, saunas and mascara for 24 to 48 hours.
- Skip the lash curler; the lift does the work.
- A lift usually lasts six to eight weeks, so plan your next one around then.
- A lash tint fades as lashes grow and shed; plan the next one about three to four weeks later.
