What does a lash tint change?
Color only
A semi-permanent tint darkens your own lashes from root to tip, so light tips show without mascara. Nothing is curled or added.
Who it suits
Light or fair lashes, holidays and swimming, or anyone who would rather skip mascara. If your lashes are dark but straight, a lift is the better fit.
Sensitive eyes
Approved lash dyes can sometimes irritate the eye, so tell Desiree about any past reaction to tint or hair dye, and ask about a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead; call or text before you book.

Prep and aftercare
How do I prepare for a lash tint?
- Come with clean lashes: no mascara, eyeliner or eye makeup.
- Skip oily products around your eyes that day so the tint takes evenly.
- If you've reacted to lash or brow tint before, call or text Desiree and ask about a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead.
- If you've ever reacted to hair dye, tell Desiree too: tints and hair dyes can share the same ingredient.
- If you wear contact lenses, bring your case; most people are more comfortable without them.
- You'll lie back with your eyes closed for about 30 minutes, so wear something comfortable, and skip a big coffee right before if caffeine makes you jittery.
- Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in.
What aftercare does a lash tint need?
- Keep your lashes dry, and skip steam, saunas and mascara for 24 to 48 hours.
- A lash tint fades as lashes grow and shed; plan the next one about three to four weeks later.
