How do I start: book, See what we see, or a pre-visit?
There are three ways into a first appointment at Central Oasis, each three steps long. Pick the one that matches what you already know.
Pre-visitAfter you've booked
- Take a few close-ups
- What we see and how to prepare
- Saved for Desiree on her studio page; she can reply on your pre-visit link.
Your link arrives after you book
- Book directly. Choose a service, pick a time and request it; Desiree confirms. Quickest when you know what you want.
- See what we see (optional, before booking). Send a few close-ups of your lashes or brows, and get plain notes on what we see plus the services that fit what you want.
- Pre-visit (optional, after booking). Send close-ups ahead; they're saved for Desiree on her studio page, and she can reply on your pre-visit link. If one add-on would suit you, you can add it or skip it, and it's paid at the visit.
Photos are never required; you can always book directly instead. If a photo or your answers show irritation or an eye condition, the AI doesn't suggest a service and hands it to Desiree. How it works walks through each path.
Which appointment should I book for my first set?
Book a full set, or a 60‑ or 90‑minute extension appointment; both can be booked without a set already on. Skip the 30‑minute classic and hybrid fills: they're short top-ups that require extensions you currently have on.
| If you want | Book | Time | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| A new classic set, built from the start | Classic full set (call or text to book) | 120 minutes | $150 |
| A new hybrid set, built from the start | Hybrid full set | 150 minutes | $170 |
| A new volume set, built from the start | Volume full set | 180 minutes | $235 |
| A new mega volume set, built from the start | Mega volume full set | 180 minutes | $275 |
| A lighter hybrid set on your natural lashes | 90‑minute hybrid | 90 minutes | $110 |
| A lighter look on your natural lashes, with no set already on | 60‑minute classic | 60 minutes | $55 |
| Not for a first visit: a short fill on existing extensions | 30‑minute classic fill | 30 minutes | $35 |

Coming from strip lashes? Tell Desiree the length and curl you're used to and what you like about them; she sets both for your own eyes.

How should I prepare? Your first-appointment checklist
Run through this the day before and that morning.
- Book the right appointment: a full set or a 60‑ or 90‑minute appointment, not a 30‑minute classic or hybrid fill.
- Know the look you want: describe the effect (natural and defined, soft fluff, dark and dramatic) and what you'd rather avoid. A reference photo helps when you say what you like about it.
- Arrive with clean lashes: no mascara, liner or eye makeup.
- Skip oil that day: no oil-based cleansers, eye creams or makeup removers. Oil weakens lash adhesive.
- Don't curl your lashes beforehand.
- Mention sensitivity first: if your eyes get sensitive or you've reacted to lash glue before, tell Desiree and ask her about a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead; call or text before you book.
- Reacted to tint before? For a lash or brow tint, a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead is the safe route; ask Desiree about one when you call or text.
- Adding brows? Skip tweezing or waxing for about two weeks if you can, and skip retinol, acids and exfoliants on your brows 3–5 days before.
The sensitivity step matters most. In a national survey in Japan, 26.8% of women who had worn extensions reported a health problem afterwards, such as red eyes, pain or itchy, swollen eyelids (Amano and Nishiwaki, 2013).
What happens at the appointment?
At the appointment, your notes and any close-ups you sent are gone over, then your lashes are looked at in person and the plan is confirmed with you. This is the moment to say softer, bolder or "like the photo, but less dense."
Then you lie back with your eyes closed for the length of the appointment: 180 minutes for a volume full set, less for a 60‑ or 90‑minute set.

You pay at the end of your visit. Nothing is charged online, and any add-on you chose in your pre-visit is paid then too.
How do I look after my first set?
Keep your new extensions dry for the first 24 hours so the adhesive can fully set, use oil-free cleansers and makeup removers, and brush them gently each morning with a clean spoolie. Sleep on your back or side when you can, and skip mascara: it clumps extensions and needs an oil-based remover.
Book your first fill before you leave. Natural lashes cycle through growth, transition and rest, with a growth phase of 4 to 10 weeks (Aumond and Bitton, 2018), so they shed on their own schedule and take their extensions with them. Regular fills keep the set full: the 60‑minute appointment is the two-week refresh, and the 90‑minute one is for when it's been two to three weeks or you've shed more than usual.
Between visits, clean your lash line daily with an oil-free cleanser. The full guide is on aftercare, and when to book a lash fill covers timing. If there's redness, swelling, pain or any change in vision, contact Desiree and see a doctor.
Quick answers
- Do I have to send photos before my first lash appointment?
- No. You can book directly: choose a service, pick a time and request it; Desiree confirms. See what we see (before booking) and the pre-visit (after booking) are optional ways to send close-ups, so the AI can suggest services or Desiree can plan ahead. Either way, Desiree confirms the plan with you at your visit.
- Can I book a 30‑minute lash appointment for my first set?
- Not the 30‑minute classic or hybrid appointments. They are short fills, and both require extensions you already have on. For a first set, book a full set, or a 60‑ or 90‑minute classic, hybrid or volume appointment, which can be booked without a set already on, for a lighter set on your natural lashes.
- Do I pay when I book my lash appointment online?
- No. Booking online takes three steps: choose a service, pick a time and request it; Desiree confirms. Nothing is charged online. You pay at your visit, including any add-on you chose during your pre-visit. Current prices and appointment times for every service are listed on the services page.
- What if I have sensitive eyes or have reacted to lash glue before?
- Call or text Desiree at (971) 205‑2402 before you book, and ask her about a patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead; the same goes if you've reacted to lash or brow tint. Arrive with clean lashes and no oil-based products.
