What does a lash extension price buy in Portland?

At Central Oasis, a new full set is $170 to $275 booked online, or $150 for the classic full set by call or text; the 60‑minute two-week refresh is $55 to $95; the 90‑minute appointment, for two to three weeks or extra shedding, is $105 to $140; and 30‑minute appointments are $35 to $55. Compare what an appointment is for and how long it takes, not just the price.

What does a lash price actually buy?

A lash price buys time with the artist for one specific job: building a new set, refreshing one, filling a few gaps or taking a set off. Two prices only compare when they name the same job. "Classic" or "volume" tells you the style, not whether you're looking at a first set or a quick fill.

Here is our own extension menu, sorted by job. Times and prices come straight from the live menu.

Mega volume has the same 60‑minute two-week refresh and 90‑minute fill, and a short fill of its own: Mega Volume Lash Fill (30 min) is the short fill for a mega volume set that is still on, under two weeks; at about two weeks, book the 60‑minute refresh. Her menu doesn't say whether the 30‑minute mega volume fill needs extensions already on, so if your lashes are bare, call or text before you book. Every service is on our services page.

Our extension appointments plotted by length and price, drawn from the live menu.

Read any lash menu as price per appointment length: put the price beside the minutes, then ask what those minutes are for. On our menu, within each style, the longer appointment costs more because it reserves more of Desiree's time. The full sets are the longest appointments, because they build a set from the start.

Length isn't a quality score, and a short slot isn't a bargain. Minutes simply tell you what you've booked.

The one trap is the shortest slot. Classic Lash Fill (30 min) at $35 looks like an easy way in, but it's a short fill for a set you already wear.

In Desiree's own words:

A short and sweet touch up session. This service uses 1 to 1 classic extensions to enhance the eye. This service does require that you currently have eyelash extensions on.

New to extensions? Book a full set or a 60‑ or 90‑minute appointment instead. Your first lash appointment walks through the choice.

How should I budget for lash extensions?

Budget for the whole path, not the first visit. Extensions are a set plus regular upkeep, and the upkeep is what you'll pay most often.

  1. The set. The full sets are Classic Lash Full Set ($150; call or text to book), Hybrid Lash Full Set ($170), Volume Lash Full Set ($235) and Mega Volume Lash Full Set ($275). Or start lighter, on your natural lashes, with a 60‑ or 90‑minute appointment.
  2. The refresh, about every two weeks. Volume Lash Fill (60 min), $85, at two weeks, or Volume Lash Fill (90 min), $130, if it's been two to three weeks or you've shed more than usual.
  3. The exit. Lash Extension Removal, $30 and up, is its own appointment when you want a break.

Wear classic or hybrid? Swap in those refresh prices from the table. At the two-week pace, plan on about two refreshes a month; at three weeks, fewer.

Upkeep isn't optional because natural lashes shed on their own cycle, and each shed lash takes its extension with it. A full lash cycle takes about 4 to 11 months (Aumond and Bitton, 2018), and because every lash is at a different point in it, people typically lose and replace 1 to 4 lashes a day (Sullivan et al., 2023).

Between visits, clean your lash line daily with an oil-free cleanser.

Before and after of the same client's brows and lashes: natural lashes on the left, extensions on the right, a full, dark set
Before / After from Desiree's chair: her natural lashes on the left, the new set on the right. A full set builds every lash from the start, which is why full sets are the longest appointments on the menu.

What should I check on any studio's lash menu?

Portland menus package lashes differently, so read the conditions beside each price before you compare. Ask these of any studio, including us.

Five things to check on any lash menu
CheckWhat to askWhy it matters
Starter or promotional priceIs this a first-visit offer? What is the regular price?A welcome price isn't what you'll pay at every visit.
Member ratesIs the lower fill price for members only?A membership is its own purchase; not every guest gets that rate.
RemovalIs removal included, or a separate appointment? It adds to the cost when you switch studios or take a break.
Time reservedHow many minutes, and is it a full set or a fill? The same style name can cover very different amounts of work.
Fill timingHow often does the studio recommend a fill?Over a year, upkeep adds up to more than the first set.

On our menu, every appointment shows its time and price, and removal is booked separately. Wearing extensions from another studio? Central Oasis fills sets done at other studios: book the fill that fits the time since your last appointment, whoever did your set. You pay at your visit; nothing is charged online.

Quick answers

How much does a full set of lash extensions cost at Central Oasis?
It depends on the style you choose. On the current menu, a new full set is $170 to $275 booked online, or $150 for the classic full set by call or text. It takes longer than a fill because it builds the whole set from the start. For a lighter set on natural lashes, the 60‑ and 90‑minute appointments can be booked without a set already on.
Why are some lash appointments so much cheaper than others?
Because they buy a different job. A short fill closes gaps in a set you already wear; a full set builds a new one. On our menu, the 30‑minute classic and hybrid appointments require existing extensions. On any menu, a low price may also be a first-visit or member rate, so check the regular price.
How often will I pay for a lash fill?
Plan on regular refreshes. On our menu, the 60‑minute appointment is the recommended two-week refresh, and the 90‑minute appointment is for when it's been two to three weeks or you've shed more than usual. Between visits, keep your lash line clean every day.
Is lash extension removal a separate cost?
Yes. On our menu, Lash Extension Removal is its own appointment at $30 and up. Come with your current extensions and don't pull or pick them off at home, which can take natural lashes with them. Afterwards, give your lashes a few days off; a lash bath or a lift is a good next step.
